FEAR! Chapter 15 - Few years later.

Raj married Sneha and he also became a father of a girl child.

I couldn’t become father. Nidhi became bedraggled. Nidhi was suffering from liver cancer. Doctor gave chemo treatment but they were not sure whether she will convalesce or not. After chemo therapy, she was recommended to take chemo tablets but situation was getting execrable day by day. The situation became so worst that her saliva gland shrank and now that she was unable to open her mouth completely. As a result, it became impossible for her to have proper food and drink water.

I hated to stay at home. I was fed up of taking care of Nidhi. I started spending time out even I stayed out in nights. I knew that Nidhi will die soon because situation was out of control. She was losing immunity day by day. Doctor gave up.

It was a time to plan my future. I started spending nights with Sanjana more often. Nidhi was mad at me but she could do nothing. She had only one choice to put up with my lustful habits and bear the worst pain. I was just waiting for her death so that I could marry Sanjana.

And that day came very soon. Nidhi was not able to have anything for 1 week. Her sugar and BP level dropped. She was taken to the hospital. Doctor took her to the I.C.U. and hardly 2 minutes were over that doctor came out and declared Nidhi dead.

After all rituals of death, I decided to marry. I was keenly waiting for 17 September when I was supposed to marry Sanjana.

But I forgot what you sow so shall you reap. Bad money always brings devastation. The result of bad karmas is always bad. Bad penny always turns up.

It was night of 14 September. I went to my bedroom to hit the sack. I didn’t have food. I just took 2 pegs of wine. I started feeling very drowsy and tiring. Suddenly I had a little pain in my chest. It was getting severe gradually. I decided to go to the doctor. I dashed to the drawer where car keys were lying. As I opened the drawer, my heart muscles contracted and I felt as if somebody pushed me down. I lost the balance and fell down. I had a severe heart attack. I was not able to speak and move. I tried hard to open the eyes and I astonished what I saw there. I felt Nidhi’s soul there.

Death was standing in front of me. Today I realized the meaning of that dream. The person chasing me was none but it was my fear of my bad karmas. It was the fear of curse of those innocent and poor people whom I killed and possessed their farm lands. It was me who snatched bread and butter from poor people. It was me who brought Nidhi to her death. It was the bad penny that never let us to become parents.

It was that bloody money which never gave me happiness. It was that bloody money that brought Nidhi to death. It was that money which had brought me to death today.

Somebody has said true – Palaces are not erected on graves.

FEAR! Chapter 14 - Present time.

When I slept recalling the past, I didn’t realize.

Next morning Nidhi was upset. She was absolutely uninterested in every work. I was also quiet. I didn’t want to interrogate as my soul drenched after recalling past. I left for office. I had to attend the meeting. 5 Years later Raj was going to meet me. I was just hoping he would be unaware of my relation with Sanjana.

Everyone was already waiting there when I reached office. The atmosphere was very cool. Raj was fine. I didn’t get any clue that he knew I slept with his wife. I took a sigh of relief. Meeting was fantastic. This godown project was very important as it was a source of creating fixed income.

Several years passed by. Our godown project was accomplished and now we were getting rent in every quarter. With this income I could buy very expensive bungalow.

FEAR! Chapter 13 - Recalling Past.

Sneha’s threatening made my blood run cold. I never thought a lady who used to dance on my fingers will today throw me out atrociously.

I reached home, parked car and without having dinner I went to hit the sack. Nidhi insisted me to have food but I denied. I was very discomfort. I was restless. I invoked my past memories.

Those were summer days of June. Scorching sharp beams of rising sun made me irritated and desolated when I went for a great length to get a job. I tried to get the job very hard but I couldn’t. It was metropolitan city where survival was getting very complicated for me.

I was in dire need of money but I was not getting any opportunity to earn it. One day I was going to my room in an auto. I was on my way. The auto driver was moving slow. I told him to put the foot down. He accelerated the speed and he hit the auto into the car.

Fortunately nothing was damaged. An old lady came out of the car. She was quiet. She was around 45 years old. I was in hurry to go my room. I just apologized and tried to escape but I couldn’t go as the lady started talking to me.

“Hello young boy” – old lady said
“Hi, I am so sorry. Actually auto driver is drunk. You can understand what I mean.”

“Ok ohk fine, well where are you going?”
“I was on the way Home.”

“If you want I can drop you.”
Her proposal was a ray of hope. Without wasting time, I asserted.

I gave money to auto driver and sat in the car of old lady and left.

“So young boy, what’s your name?”
“Asutosh”

“What you do for your living?”
I told her each and everything about me. Our conversation was going good. Suddenly car stopped in front of a bungalow, she asked me to join for a coffee. I took no second to say yes because after a long time someone was listening to me so intensely, or else of the times I was treated like garbage.

She took me to a lavish bungalow. I couldn’t believe it was her house. The golden lights in dark night, lush garden and white marble was bewitching. I was lost in the beauty of the house that for a while I forgot my reality.

The woman took me inside. No one was in. She directly took me in the bedroom. I was bit hesitated, what was she trying to do but I thought she was trying to show me off her bungalow.

The woman took her sandals off. She asked me to sit down. She made us coffee and said – “This is very expensive city. And I think you must have known this. I can see you are feeling the pinch. You have not enough money to manage. Money is everything. Without it, survival is impossible. So how long you have been wondering a job?” – said old lady

“I am not able to crack a job. I am lacking in my education. That’s why I have been hunting a good job for over 3 months.”

Old Lady – “What if I give you a job?”
My face lightened up as I heard this. Words precipitously slipped out of my tongue – “What type of a job?”

Old Lady – “I can offer you a job and you can earn around 40,000 per sitting.”
Asutosh – “Really, what is this? I can do anything for you. You just tell me.”

Old Lady – “Oh, that’s great. You don’t need to go anywhere. You will stay with me unless your services are over. I am sure by then you would have good amount of money. Later on you could be buying a small flat for you.”
Asutosh – “Ok. But what am I supposed to do?”

Old Lady – “You have to provide me gigolo service.”
Asutosh – “What?”

Old Lady – “Yes, this is your job. You have enough time to think of. If you are not comfortable, you can back out. But remember 40,000 rupees per sitting.”

I was shocked. My brain stopped working. On the one hand 40,000 rupees and on the other hand my sanctity. Though I was impecunious but I was as pure as driven snow. It was my morality only that never let anybody to paint black picture of mine. But that day I was standing at crossroads.

Somebody has said true – good and evil both lies in the heart together and everyone is supposed to battle against sin. But this is also true that when we lead good and evil together, evil always win as nothing is heavier than sin. That day I forgot the rights and wrongs. My wit was operating in reverse. 40,000 were beguiling me. It was everything for me.

My mind and soul accepted the proposal. And why wouldn’t I accept this? After all it is a heck of a good deal. I could fulfil all my needs. What my sanctity and honesty had given me? Only poverty? People laughed at me when they saw me wearing torn clothes. They always looked me down.

The old lady needed only the youth and I charmed her with my youth. I met her expectations. She was so happy that she started giving me more money.

Time passed by. With each passing single day I was flourishing. Raj also used to come there. I got to know about Raj there only. He had real estate business. As I used to stay with old lady, I started getting interacted with Raj. It took no long time for us to become buddies. He offered me to be his partner in his business. A unique affinity developed between us. I invested the part of my income that I earned through gigolo services in his business. He taught me business rules. He helped me to get the flat. Afterwards, I left staying with old lady and she also caught another dumb and youthful boy.

Raj and I started making huge amount of money. In the entire industry no one was richer than us. But the reason behind the lucrativeness was embezzlement. We used to stick up money and farm lands from poor people and if anybody dared to raise their voice, we killed them. No value of humanity in front of power of money.

I didn’t realize how greed brought about lust. Raj was lascivious. He used to go to strippers and sometimes hire escorts for one night stand. I was his business partner so I accompanied him everywhere he went. We were birds of a feather so I also started making out with escorts. Soon I also became an expert to weigh the respect of a woman in money.

Some years later, I met Sneha. She was ravishing girl. She used to work in a bank. I met her when my car was hit by her car and I got injury. She took me to the hospital. By then I was very expert to impress girls and I succeeded to charm the pants off her. We exchanged numbers. Every weekend we both used to meet. I didn’t realize when she starting loving me. I never wanted her as wife but I wanted her to be my bedmate. We started to share single bed. I was never afraid of being insulted in the conservative society because money makes everyone’s mouth shut.

With passage of every moment I was killing my soul. I had reached too far from peace and purity by following the path of sin that it became impossible for me to come back. I used to go Raj’s house sometimes casually and sometimes for business purposes. I realized there was some commotion between Raj and his wife, Sanjana. I tried to know the reason behind it from Raj. He told me everything and I realized that he was regretting marrying a lady who was not wife material. I took the advantage of the opportunity. Sanjana was very beautiful and hot and I also wanted her to get into bed anyhow. A woman was always a lustful object for me. I played many tricks. Whenever Raj used to go out for business meetings, I stopped accompanying him. I made him believed that my stay in the office is very important to handle the rest office staff. I rushed him into doing that.

I starting calling on Raj’s home on his back to meet Sanjana. I told everything to Sanjana that I knew about their relationship. Sanjana was full of emotions and she overwhelmed. She got off her chest. Often, she talked about heated arguments between Raj and her. She used to cry a lot while telling all that and I used to take advantage of the situation. I never left any chance to cuddle her while console. Sanjana became so friendly with me. Even she started calling me in her house sometimes in Raj’s presence and sometimes on his back. Sanjana wanted love and Raj never wanted to give her love. I thought to fulfil Sanjana’s wish. Though, after a long time but finally the night came when again, I satisfied my lust.

I didn’t let Raj to know about this and I knew that Sanjana won’t tell this. After all she was also culprit. Sanjana was very embarrassed with the incident so she decided to never meet again. I had no problem with her decision as I got what I wanted.

But unfortunately Nikhil, the driver of Raj came to know about this. I was worried about what would happen if he told Raj. I convinced Nikhil not to tell this to Raj. But he wanted some money in lieu of.

I gave him money and I also played a trick. I lied to Raj that he knew about our business secrets and blackmailed me that if I didn’t give him money he would expose us. I knew that this statement was enough to instigate Raj and he did as he was supposed to. He hired some goondas and ordered them to kill Nikhil.

I succeeded in my plan and we narrated a fake story to Nikhil’s parents that he was drunk while driving the car and lost the balance. He fell down in gauge and died.

Few years passed by after this incident. Everything was normal. Sanjana delivered a baby of Raj and I dumped Sneha and married to Nidhi. Arrogance, lust and pride make a person blind but one day comes when all bad karmas torment. Raj started to cheat on me in business. He started to put me down and remind me that it was he who pulled me out the gutter of poverty. We often had into the heated arguments and sometimes wrangle. The accountant was also doing what Raj was guiding him to do. He made some fake entries and showed in the books of account that I had to owe company. I decided to terminate partnership. I couldn’t withdraw my capital as he spuriously showed me debtor. I moved on in my life and opened a partnership business with Yuvraj.

FEAR! Chapter 12 - Meeting with Sneha.

When we got free from astrologer, Nidhi and Sanjana accompanied home in the taxi and I left for Sneha’s house. I rang the bell. As she opened the door her smile and rapture went away. Perhaps she opened the door with hope of Raj being at door.

“You?” – said Sneha (in astonishment)

I entered the room without any courtesy. She was dressed up in hot gown. I understood she was waiting for Raj.
“How dare you to enter my home like this? Why have you come over here?” – asked Sneha

“Oh really today you will restrict me to enter your home. Don’t forget everything in your home is made of my money. I invested money in your house, furniture and in fact on your cloths and today you are cheating on me just for of so-called Raj.”

“Oho, so finally you have come to know about my alliance with Raj. That’s why you are feeling envious.”

“Asutosh, don’t hold grudges against me. I am not cheating on you. You cheated on me. You abandoned me for Nidhi. And the money you are bragging about, you gave to make my mouth shut. Don’t worry, I will pay off all money that I owed you. After all I have Raj now who is sumptuous more than you.” said Sneha

“You are bragging……. Sneha interrupted and said “Just shut up, if you don’t leave my house I will call security guard and make you throw out. And if you ever dare to call on my home then I will tell your past background to your wife. Now you can imagine how it will be demeaning. Get out right now.”

FEAR! Chapter 11 - Meeting with Astrologer.

Next day we got up and had breakfast. Nidhi called her friend to be ready and told her that we were about to leave to pick her up. We left home. I drove the car and Nidhi directed me the way to her friend’s home.

I was driving and Nidhi was telling me the way her friend’s home but suddenly I realized the same way also goes to Sanjana’s home. Nidhi said me to stop the car. I stopped it and noticed it was Sanjana’s home.

I shocked when Nidhi called Sanjana to come out of the house.

I asked Nidhi – “Sanjana is your friend?”
“Yeah, she is my friend and we are going with her as she knows the astrologer’s office.” – said Nidhi

Sanjana came out of the house. She embraced her and surprised when she saw me.

“Hi Asutosh what a pleasant surprise. Hi, I didn’t know you are Nidhi’s friend.”

“Asutosh do you know her?” – said Nidhi

“Yes, actually I have been knowing her for a long time. In fact most of the time I meet her due to official work.”

Nidhi – “Official work but…..” Sanjana interrupted – “oh leave it, let’s go.”

Sanjana drove the car and I was sitting next to her. Nidhi was sitting on rear seat. We talked to each other unless we reached to the astrologer.

(In Astrologer’s House)

“Hello Mr. Varun” – said Sanjana

“Hi Sanjana” – said astrologer

“Meet Asutosh and Nidhi. They have come today here to meet you.”

“Have a seat. Yeah, tell me.” – said Varun (astrologer)

“Mr. Varun I have been watching a horrible nightmare for 1 or 2 months, someone chases me to kill in my dream.”

“Show me your palm.” – said Varun

Few minutes he watched my palm and said – “This dream indicates you are about to get into the trouble. You don’t need to worry; no one is going to kill you. This dream indicates your future troubles. I give you a stone that you will wear on your index finger to inhibit the hindrances.”

“Mr. Varun one thing more that we don’t have a baby. So could you tell is there any chance of baby in future?” – said Nidhi

Astrologer saw the palm of Nidhi and told her few years later she could have a baby. Nidhi got pleased. After a long time she got a ray of hope.

FEAR! Chapter 10 - Asutosh's place.

“Hi, Nidhi how are you?”
“Fine, you got late today.”

“Actually my boss asked me to give a file to a client. After being free from office I went to the client’s home.”

“Today I called my friend who knows astrologer. She is coming tomorrow. We will accompany her to the astrologer.”

“Are you gone mad? You know Nidhi I don’t believe astrologers and you have called her even without consulting me.”

“Why are you going off on me? I know you don’t believe this but I believe this and we have already discussed about it moreover you are having the same dream for past two months. This dream is not a senseless dream. There is no harm to consult him. To say you anything is to cast pearls before swine. You always considered money important, nothing else. I warn you Asutosh if you don’t bring any change to your attitude you will remorse one day. Money is not the solution to every problem. Really you sometimes behave disgusting!” – said Nidhi

“If money was everything then we have had our children. We had no child yet. Where your money has gone? Why can’t your money help us to make a baby? Tell me Asutosh, tell. Why are you struck dumb now? Just few moments ago you were raging. Now what happened?” – said Nidhi

“Since I have married, you always put me down. You do blunders and I have to bear the brunt of your mistakes. But I have had enough. I can’t put up with your recklessness. We are going to meet astrologer tomorrow and that’s final.” – said Nidhi

First time I felt weak in front of Nidhi. After dinner Nidhi and I went to the bed. I was not serene that day. My wife castigated me and left me speechless by truth. So far she doesn’t know the whole truth then she reprimanded me so badly if she knew my past she would have given me divorce.

That night I couldn’t sleep. I was restless whole night.

FEAR! Chapter 9 - Sanjana's place.

After leaving the office, I just rushed to the Sanjana’s house. I was very annoyed. Her lie knocked me for a loop. How mean it is. How she could declare her husband dead?

It was 9: 20pm when I rang her door bell. She opened the door and asked me to come inside. I was rageful due to the conversation with Raj. Therefore I pushed her and directly rushed to the living room.

Sanjana became surprised to see my strange behaviour. She locked the door immediately.

“What happened Raj? Is everything ok? You are coming this time. You should be at your home right now.”

“Sure, but you are the reason of me being over here.”

“What do you want to say? Please cut to the chase.” – said Sanjana

“I am always transparent Sanjana but you are not. You lied to me.”

“Stop beating around the bush. I am not getting.” – said Sanjana
“Today I met Raj.”

Sanjana squirmed. She got sweat on her forehead. She was trying to evade the interrogation.

“Why are you silent now? What happened?”
“Quiet Asutosh, just quiet. I never blenched you. I never had intention to cheat on you. In fact I trust you more than my husband since the day when I met you.”

“I tell you the truth, yes my husband is alive. I never told you that day not because I wanted to lie you but I didn’t want to tell the truth to my daughter.”

“My daughter is a teenager. What do I tell her that her husband has given us up for someone else? Imagine how this could be disastrous? I don’t want her to suffer with this trauma. But you won’t understand as you’re not a single mother.”

“Oh, I am sorry, dear. I really didn’t have any idea about the situation.”
“It’s fine. That day when you met me and asked me about my husband, I lied to you because Mehak was also in the car. I never told her the truth that her father doesn’t love her. I told her that her father died in an accident with his friend.” – said Sanjana

“Well, did you have a word with Raj?” – said Sanjana
“Actually today I went to his office to hand over a file. He is going to invest in our new project. Day before yesterday he came to my office but I didn’t attend meeting due to accident. And today he brusquely asked me about you. So I think he knows that I meet you?”

“How it is possible Asutosh?” – said Sanjana

“That’s what I wanted to tell you. He is spying on us every moment. I am damn sure.”

“Oh no but it shouldn’t be.” – said Sanjana

“And one thing more, he told me that he is going to marry Sneha Shekhawat.”

“Sneha Shekhawat? But Sneha was…..”
“Yes, this is that Sneha.”

“I am literally surprised to know this. He has dumped me for that mistress. How cheap it is.”

Sanjana was cut to the quick. She was whining. I mollified her.

FEAR! Chapter 8 - Meeting.

“Hello Asutosh, nice to see you after a long time.” – said Raj
“Hey Raj how are you?”

“I am absolutely fine. Have you brought the file?”
“Yeah, here it is.”

“Well done! Have a seat. Well, how is your relationship with Sanjana? Oh, I mean your friendship.” – said Raj

I fumbled up for a moment. I squirmed. I said – “it has been a long time to see her.”

“Oh, I thought you are still in contact with her.”

“What? Are you out of your mind? I stopped calling on her since you betrayed me in the business. Infact I am surprised, you are her husband and you don’t know who she meets or doesn’t meet.”

I said this because I wanted to make him believe that I don’t know he and his wife are living apart.

“Actually Asutosh I have abandoned her. I don’t have any interest in her now. I want to enjoy my life rather than being burdened by responsibilities of rearing a wife and a daughter. In fact I am going to marry Sneha.”

“Sneha, who Sneha?”
“O ho Sneha Shekhawat, how can you forget her?” – said Raj

I became furious when I heard Sneha was going to marry this mean person who was already married and left his wife and daughter. How demeaning it was.

I hid my wrathful feelings. With heavy heart I said – “Congratulations. I am happy for you.”
“Thanks. I will invite you in my marriage.” – said Raj

“Ok, sure. Bye.”

FEAR! Chapter 7 - Next day.

Next day I got up early in the morning and left for mechanic shop. I got the bonnet repaired and left for the office. I was driving calmly. I was listening old songs. Suddenly I saw the same black man in the right mirror of the car. Same despicable eyes and same black hat. I stopped the car and turned behind but there was no one. When I saw back in the mirror those two eyes were reflecting. I frightened. I accelerated the car so as to reach the office as soon as possible. My fear was too intense that I started hallucinating.

When I reached the office, I was drenched in the sweat. I dashed to my cabin. Yuvraj was already waiting there for me. He stunned to see me puffing out.

“What happened? Why are you huffing and puffing?” – said Yuvraj
“I am fine. Don’t worry.”

“Have a glass of water and relax.” – said Yuvraj

I drank water. I kept sitting quiet for a while. To see me relaxed, Yuvraj asked me – “What happened yesterday?”
“I collided my car into a tree and got a small injury but now I am ok.”- I replied

“It doesn’t seem that you are fine. See your condition, I think you should go and rest some time.” – said Yuvraj

“No yuvraj I am really ok let’s discuss our project.”

“Ok, fine. The meeting was not held yesterday. So I have postponed it next week. And one thing more Diwakar told me his friend, Raj also wants to invest in this project.”

“Raj, who is this?”
“Asutosh, it’s same Raj who have been your ex- business partner.”

“What but he died.”
“What nonsense? He is alive. In fact you have to give this file to him today.” – said Yuvraj

I was perplexed. If he was alive why would Sanjana lie to me?

I tried to convince Yuvraj not to let Raj to invest in the project because he hoodwinked me. But he turned deaf ears.

FEAR! Chapter 6 - Same frightening dream.

Mechanic was repairing the car. I kept standing quietly. Hardly 20 minutes he took to start the car. He asked me to come to the mechanic shop next day for getting bonnet repaired.

I went back home. My wife got tensed to see injury on my forehead. I explained the whole incident and placated her.

Nidhi and I had dinner together and then we went to our bed. I was anxious and thinking about Sanjana only. I was engrossed in my thoughts. How she managed years after her husband’s death? She has one 15 years old daughter. She studies in an expensive private school. How she does manage to meet all expenses including her daughter’s high fees?

One hour passed by but I was not feeling sleepy at all. I recalled my past memories. I invoked all moments that I spent with Sanjana. I didn’t realize when I slept thinking of those pleasant moments.

Again, I had the same nightmare. I was running and the same black man was chasing me holding a knife in his hand. I got up. I was frightened. My body was sweating. I went to the bathroom, washed my face, wiped it and hardly slept after that.

FEAR! Chapter 5 - Conversation.

“Where is your damaged car?” – Said Sanjana
“It’s is on my way to office in KVR Street.”

“Where do I drop you now? – said Sanjana
“You can put me down at the mechanic shop. It’s about to come.

“Is this the same shop that is next to pastry shop?” – said Sanjana
“Yeah, absolutely right.”

“Last time I brought my car for service to this mechanic. That’s why I know it.” – said Sanjana

“Great! Well, how is Raj?”
“Raj expired two years ago.” – said Sanjana

“Oh no, I am so sorry but how?”
“He died in an accident. One day he went to airport to pick up his friend. His friend was coming from US. Both of them were coming back home. On the way home, their car was hit. They were taken to the hospital and died. – said Sanjana

“Oh God it must have been difficult for you to survive? How do you manage?”
“It is very difficult for us Asutosh. Though Raj was millionaire but I couldn’t sustain his business. I managed to survive with only rental income. It comes from my another house.”

“It’s so depressing. I really don’t know why bad things happen with nice people. Well, you don’t worry. I will certainly help you financially.”

The mechanic shop came and I got down. Sanjana left for her home.

FEAR! Chapter 4 - The hospital.

I went to the emergency room. I found doctor sitting on the chair right against the door. I told the whole story of my accident and showed my injury. He sent me to cabin no. 5 where Dr. Prakash was doing dressing of patients.

As I get in the cabin, I got the call from Yuvraj.

Yuvraj – “Where are you?”

“I am in the hospital for wound dressing. I had a minor accident.

Yuvraj – “But how?”

“It’s a long story. I will tell you when I meet you. First, let me get wound cleaned.”

I hung up immediately.

As I hung up Dr. Prakash cleaned the wound and applied bandage. He prescribed some medicines.

I was in expedition. I just wanted to go home. In the corridor there were lots of patients coming and going. I was just making the way through the crowd. But I dashed against a lady, I was just going to fall down but she held my hand tenaciously.

I got discomfort due to the way she grasped my hand for a bit long time. I looked up at her to say thanks. But as I looked at her, I dazzled. I became full of beans. I completely forgot my pain.

“Sanjana you, how are you?”
“Hey Ashutosh, I am fine, nice to see you after so long.”

“What has brought you over here?”
“Actually I got an injury in an accident so I came here for dressing.” “You tell why you are here?”
“My daughter, Mehak is not well. She has fever and cold. So I thought to get her a medical checkup. I forgot my purse in the car so I went to take this. I have to just make payment inside. Mehak is also inside.”

“Sanjana if you don’t mind could you give me lift in your car.”

“Of course Asutosh you are embarrassing me. After all you have been my best friend. At least I can do this for you. You just wait over here. I come back.”

Few minutes later Sanjana came back with her daughter.

“Hi Uncle” – said Mehak
“Hi Beta, how are you?”
“Fine uncle”

“Sanjana how old is she?”
“She is 15 years old.”

“That’s great, last time when I met her she was about 7 years old.”
“Yeah, let’s come Asutosh.” – said Sanjana

FEAR! Chapter 3 - The taxi.

I waited for a taxi few minutes. I saw a taxi no. 3271 coming. I gave a gesture to stop the taxi. Taxi stopped, I knocked the window. The taxi driver opened the mirror. I bent little bit to ask driver to drop me at the nearest hospital but as I saw him, I shocked.

Taxi driver was same man whom I saw in my dream. He was dressed in black attire completely. He made my hair stand on end. I was as silent as grave. Same two eyes, same black attire and same black hat. Suddenly I heard, “What happened Sir, what you want? How long I have been asking you what happened but you don’t respond me.”

I came out of my shock and realized the taxi driver was different man. He was in blue jeans and yellow shirt and he was trying hard to communicate with me because of my peculiar behaviour.

I said – “I am sorry, actually my car is damaged over here as you can see. I have got an injury so could you drop me at the nearest hospital.”

“Yeah Sure.”- said the taxi driver

I got into the taxi. I was extremely frightened. I was deeply engrossed in my thoughts. I was trying to think how he seemed to me as menacing man in dream. My head was whirling. Suddenly I heard, ‘Sir’ in a loud voice. I came out of my thoughts. I realized I was so immersed that I couldn’t hear taxi driver who was constantly asking me about the accident.

I fumbled “yes, dr, dr, driver, you were saying something?”
“What’s wrong with you sir I have been asking you how you met with an accident and you are in your own world. It seems that you are in shock.” – said driver

“No, absolutely not, I am fine now. The accident frightened me. I had a close shave when the truck was nearly going to hit me.”

“Oh sir you are chicken hearted. Just think about ourselves, we remain on road 24×7 taking 100% risk of death. We never know when a truck driver can hit us. We also have heart, we also have desires, we also have a family, we also wish to spend time with our children and wife. But you see injustice by destiny. You have got a shock just by a minor injury but think about ourselves who fight against death every time. ”

I didn’t react on his words. In fact his words drove my attention to Nikhil, ex driver of Raj. I remember he also said same words when I had to accompany him to Raj’s office to hand over very confidential file. The incident was 9 years old.

I immediately realized I couldn’t ask name of the driver. I asked his name, he replied, Nikhil.

I once again shocked and instantly my tongue slipped,” Nikhil but how is it possible?”

“Why? Why my name can’t be Nikhil?” – said driver

I fumbled; I said “I didn’t mean as you took. Actually co-incidentally my driver’s name was also Nikhil.”

“Sir there is nothing to get shocked about this. There are lots of people with the same name. Millions of Nikhil are in this world. You terrified and astounded as if you have murdered Nikhil.”

“Oh, just shut up, what are you babbling about? Do I look like a murderer? Have you gone mad? Stay in your limits.”

“Sorry sir, if you are hurt, I take my words back.” – said driver

“You should be sorry.”

My heart beat increased. I could easily hear my heart beat without putting hand on my chest. It was obvious for me to freak out because fear always chases. Sin never lets anyone to live calmly. There was silence inside the car till few minutes. I asked driver how long it would take to reach to the hospital.”

He replied – “in few minutes only.”

In next 5 minutes, we reached to the hospital. I got out of the taxi. I asked total fare and gave that to him.

FEAR! Chapter 2 - Accident.

I left my home around 9 o’ clock. I was driving myself because my driver was absent. Suddenly my phone rang. It was my driver’s call.

“Hello Pawan, where are you man? You were supposed to join your duty today.”
“Sir, actually, my wife is in hospital.” – said Pawan

“What happened?”- I asked shockingly

“Actually my wife and I met an accident while going to the market. A car driver hit my bike and I lost the control and we fell down, luckily I didn’t get any major injury -just rashes but my wife’s left arm is broken.” – He replied in lamentable voice

“Now, how is she?”

“She has got her arm plastered and it would take around one month to repair. Sir I was wondering you to grant me leave for about one week more because by then my mother will come back to take care of my wife , just after that I will definitely join sir.

“Ok, don’t worry, I will manage without you. You take care of her. When she gets alright, you can come.”

As I put the phone down on passenger’s seat, I heard loud honk of truck. I got puzzled and lost the balance on steering wheel. I forgot to push brake and my car collided with a tree and bonnet shattered.

My heart came to my mouth. I got a minor injury on my forehead. I got out of the car. I decided to go to the hospital for dressing first and then coming back with a mechanic to get my car repaired.

FEAR! Chapter 1 - Dream.

I was running blindly escaping myself from the clutch of man who was chasing me. He was holding a knife in his right hand. He was running very fast. I was drenched in sweat, losing my stamina. I was just going to stumble down any moment. I was exhausted by running continuously. My stress and anxiety level was very high. My knees and limbs were aching severely. I was not able to look around. It was very dark. I couldn’t see anything around me but trees. It was very hard to run longer for me. It was very traumatic condition. The black man screamed ferociously, I got afraid of and fell down in panic. He immediately jumped over me. He was dressed in black coat and hat. I could see only his menacing eyes because that was the only part which was uncovered. As he stabbed knife into my stomach, suddenly my eyes opened.

I was breathing hard. My whole body was under sweat. My blood ran cold. Few seconds later I realized it was a horrible dream. I poured water from a jug in the glass and drank. Then, I took a sigh of relief.

My wife got up and asked “what happened? You are all sweat.”

I replied that I had a nightmare.

“You had the same terrible dream?” – Said Nidhi

“Yeah, the same freaking dream.” – I screamed

“Asutosh I am really worried for you having such kind of horrible dreams all the time. It’s high time consulting an astrologer who can help us out about this because this dream might be some sort of indication. We should not take it so lightly.”

“Don’t worry; nothing will go wrong with me.”

“Yeah right you always say this and it ends up with your screaming in nightmare. I don’t want this apprehensive dream come true that’s why I beseech you to consult an astrologer who can succour us. I am fanatical about meeting an astrologer. I will call my friend who knows an astrologer. We will meet him and try to find out a solution.” – said Nidhi

“Ok, whatever you want to do you do. It’s 6.00 o’ clock. Let’s just cut down this conversation. I have to get ready for the office. I have a meeting with Yuvraj on a new business project.”

I got off the bed and walked out of the room.

Understated Chaos.

I know why I was drawn to you. We had the same darkness inside.

we fell apart slowly,

not noticing the bits and pieces of us that flaked away

and drifted into the cotton candy clouds.
the last few months were a facade,
laughter that once gurgled out of us in uncontrollable gasps
suddenly became forced, us closing our eyes, searching for memories to laugh over.
conversation that once exhausted us both, leaving us speechless and enamored
became exhausting conversation, both of us without much to say, mistaking our silence for a connection deeper than words.

you couldn’t feed me i love you’s anymore,
and even if you could,
i don’t know how i would’ve stomached them.
we only stuck around so long because of habit.
good morning texts were habit,
10 pm phone calls were habit,
you were a habit-
like finger biting and toe tapping,
one of those ones you never have the strength to kick,
just because they aren’t so fatal.

and we were in love once, that i won’t deny,
but our compatibility had expired.
both of us had grown,
from each other,
ready for new things,
more things that probably wouldn’t last forever.

so we fell apart slowly,
one day noticing that we were but fragments of the people we were before,
living on a last breath.
it was then, that we took that last breath,
set each other free,
and began search for another love to make home in.

you say that
we may have been wasting time
precious time.
but i say that
lovers who are not meant for forever,
won’t make a love less worthwhile.

The Open Window!

MY AUNT will be down presently, Mr Nuttel,’ said a self-possessed young lady of
fifteen. ‘In the meantime, you must put up with me.’
Framton Nuttel tried to make pleasant conversation while waiting for the Aunt.
Privately, he doubted more than ever whether these formal visits on total strangers
would help the nerve cure which he was supposed to be undergoing in this rural
retreat.
‘I’ll just give you letters to all the people I know there,’ his sister had said.
‘Otherwise you’ll bury yourself and not speak to a soul and your nerves will be worse
than ever from moping.’
‘Do you know many people around here?’ asked the niece.
‘Hardly a soul. My sister gave me letters of introduction to some people here.’
‘Then you know practically nothing about my Aunt?’ continued the self-possessed
young lady.
‘Only her name and address,’ admitted the caller.
‘Her great tragedy happened just three years ago,’ said the child.
‘Her tragedy?’ asked Framton. Somehow, in this restful spot, tragedies seemed
out of place.
‘You may wonder why we keep that window open so late in the year,’ said the
niece, indicating a large French window that opened on a lawn. ‘Out through that
window, three years ago to a day, her husband and her two young brothers went off for
their day’s shooting. In crossing the moor, they were engulfed in a treacherous bog.
Their bodies were never recovered.’
Here the child’s voice faltered. ‘Poor Aunt always thinks that they’ll come back
someday, they and the little brown spaniel that was lost with them, and walk in the
window. That is why it is kept open every evening till dusk. She has often told me how
they went out, her husband with his white waterproof coat over his arm. You know,
sometimes on still evenings like this I get a creepy feeling that they will all walk in
through that window —’
She broke off with a little shudder. It was a relief to Framton when the aunt
bustled into the room with a whirl of apologies for keeping him waiting.
‘I hope you don’t mind the open window,’ she said. ‘My husband and brothers will
be home directly from shooting and they always come in this way.’
She rattled on cheerfully about the prospects for duck shooting in the winter.
Framton made a desperate effort to turn the talk to a less ghastly topic, conscious that
his hostess was giving him only a fragment of her attention, and that her eyes were
constantly straying past him to the open window. It was certainly an unfortunate
coincidence that he should have paid his visit on this tragic anniversary.
‘The doctors ordered me a complete rest from mental excitement and physical
exercise,’ announced Framton, who imagined that everyone — even a complete
stranger — was interested in his illness.
‘Oh?’ said Mrs Sappleton, vaguely. Then she suddenly brightened into attention
— but not to what Framton was saying.
‘Here they are at last!’ she cried. ‘In time for tea, and muddy up to the eyes.’
Framton shivered slightly and turned towards the niece with a look intended to
convey sympathetic understanding. The child was staring through the open window
with dazed horror in her eyes. Framton swung round and looked in the same direction.
In the deepening twilight three figures were walking noiselessly across the lawn,
a tired brown spaniel close at their heels. They all carried guns, and one had a white
coat over his shoulders.
Framton grabbed his stick; the hall door and the gravel drive were dimly noted
stages in his headlong retreat.
‘Here we are, my dear,’ said the bearer of the white mackintosh. ‘Who was that
who bolted out as we came up?’
‘An extraordinary man, a Mr Nuttel,’ said Mrs Sappleton, ‘who could only talk
about his illness, and dashed off without a word of apology when you arrived. One
would think he had seen a ghost.’
‘I expect it was the spaniel,’ said the niece calmly. He told me he had a horror of
dogs. He was once hunted into a cemetery on the banks of the Ganges by a pack of stray dogs and had to spend the night in a newly-dug grave with the creatures snarling and foaming above him. Enough to make anyone lose his nerve.

Checkmate

As she entered the room every eye turned towards her.
When admiring a girl some men start with her head and work down. I start with the ankles and work up.
She wore black high-heeled velvet shoes and a tight-fitting black dress that stopped l enough above the
knees to reveal the most perfectly tapering legs. As my eyes continued their upward sweep they paused
to take in her narrow waist and slim athletic figure. But it was the oval face that I found captivating, slightly
pouting lips and the largest blue eyes I've ever seen, crowned with a head of thick, black, short-cut hair
that literally shone with lustre. Her entrance was all the more breathtaking because of the surroundings
she had chosen. Heads would have turned at a diplomatic reception, a society cocktail party, even a
charity ball, but at a chess tournament ...
I followed her every movement, patronisingly unable to accept she could be a player. She walked slowly
over to-the dub secretary's table and signed in to prove me wrong. :She was handed a number to indicate
her challenger for the opening match. Anyone who had not yet been allocated an opponent waited to see
if she would take her place opposite their side of the board.
The player checked the number she had been given and made her way towards an elderly man who was
seated in the far corner of the room, a former captain of the club now past his best.
As the club's new captain I had been responsible for instigating these round-robin matches. We meet on
the last Friday of the month in large club-like room on top of the Mason's Arms in the High Street. The
landlord sees to it that thirty tables are set out for us and that food and drink are readily available. Three or
four other clubs in the district send half a dozen opponents to play a couple of blitz games, giving us a
chance to face rivals we would not normally play. The rules for the matches are simple enough - one
minute on the clock is the maximum allowed for each move, so a game rarely last more than an hour, and￾if a pawn-hasn't been captured in thirty moves the game is automatically declared a draw. A short break
for a drink between games, paid for by the loser, ensures that everyone has the chance to challenge two
opponents during the evening.
A thin man wearing half-moon spectacles and a dark blue three-piece suit made his way over towards my
board. We smiled and shook hands. My guess would have been a solicitor, but I was wrong as he turned
out to be an accountant working for a stationery supplier in Woking.
I found it hard to concentrate on my opponent's well rehearsed Moscow opening as my eyes kept leaving
the board and wandering over to the girl in the black dress. On the one occasion our eyes did meet she
gave me an enigmatic smile, but although I tried again I was unable to elicit the same response a second
time. Despite being preoccupied I still managed to defeat the accountant, who seemed unaware that there
were several ways out of a seven-pawn attack.
At the half-time break three other members of the club had offered her a drink before I even reached the
bar. I knew I could not hope to play my second match against the girl as I would be expected to challenge
one of the visiting team captains. In fact she ended up playing the accountant.
I defeated my new opponent in a little over forty minutes and, as a solicitous host, began to take an
interest in the other matches that were still being played. I set out on a circuitous route that ensured I
ended up at her table. I could see that the accountant already had the better of her and within moments of
my arrival she had lost both her queen and the game.
I introduced myself and found that just shaking hands with her was a sexual experience. Weaving our way
through the tables we strolled over to the bar together. Her name, she told me, was Amanda Curzon. I
ordered Amanda the glass of red wine she requested and a half-pint of beer for myself. I began by
commiserating with her over the defeat.
"How did you get on against him?" she asked.
"Just managed to beat him," I said. "But it was very close. How did your first game with our old captain
turn out?
"Stalemate," said Amanda. But I think he was just being courteous.
"Last time I played him it ended up in stalemate," I told her.
She smiled. "Perhaps we ought to have a game some time?"
"I'll look forward to that," I said, as she finished her drink.
"Well, I must be off," she announced suddenly. "Have to catch the last train to Hounslow."
"Allow me to drive you," I said gallantly. "It's the least the host captain can be expected to do."
"But surely it's miles out of your way?"
"Not at all, I lied, Hounslow being about twenty minutes beyond my flat. I gulped down the last drop of my
beer and helped Amanda on with her coat. Before leaving I thanked the landlord for the efficient
organisation of the evening.
We then strolled into the car park. I opened the passenger door of my Scirocco to allow Amanda to climb
in.
"A slight improvement on London Transport," she said as I slid into my side of the car. I smiled and
headed out on the road northwards. That black dress that I described earlier goes even higher up the legs
when a girl sits back in a Scirocco. It didn't seem to embarrass her.
"It's still very early," I ventured after a few inconsequential remarks about the club evening. "Have you time
to drop in for a drink?"
'It would have to be a quick one," she replied, looking at her watch. "I've a busy day ahead of me
tomorrow."
"Of course," I said, chatting on, hoping she wouldn't notice a detour that could hardly be described as on
the way to Hounslow.
"Do you work in town? I asked.
"Yes. I'm a receptionist for a firm of estate agents in Berkeley Square."
"I'm surprised you're not a model."
"I used to be," she replied without further explanation. She seemed quite oblivious to the route I was
taking as she chatted on about her holiday plans for Ibiza. Once we had arrived at my place I parked the
car and led Amanda through my front gate and up to the flat. In the hall I helped her off with her coat
before taking her through to the front room.
"What would you like to drink?" I asked.
"I'll stick: to wine, if you've a bottle already open," she replied, as she walked slowly round, taking in the
unusually tidy room. My mother must have dropped by during the morning, I thought gratefully.
"It's only a bachelor pad," I said, emphasising the word "bachelor" before going into the kitchen. To my
relief I found there was an unopened bottle of wine in the larder. I joined Amanda with the bottle and two
glasses a few moments later to find her studying my chess board and fingering the delicate ivory pieces
that were set out for a game I was playing by post.
"What a beautiful set," she volunteered as I handed her a glass of wine. "Where did you find it?"
"Mexico," I told her, not explaining that I had won it in a tournament while on holiday there. "I was only
sorry we didn't have the chance to have a game ourselves."
She checked her watch. "Time for a quick one she said, taking a seat behind the little white pieces.
I quickly took my place opposite her. She smiled, picked up a white and a black bishop and hid them
behind her back. Her dress became even tighter and emphasised the shape of her breasts. She then placed both clenched fists in front of me. I touched her right hand, and she turned it over and opened it to
reveal a white bishop.
"Is there to be a wager of any kind?" I asked light-heartedly. She -
checked inside her evening bag.
"I only have a few pounds on me, she said. I'd be willing to play for lower stakes. `What do you have in
mind?" she asked.
"What can you offer?"
"What would you like?"
"Ten pounds if you win."
"And if I lose?"
"You take something off."
I regretted the words the moment I had said them and waited for her to slap my face and leave but she
said simply, "There's not much harm in that if we only play one game."
I nodded my agreement and stared down at the board.
She wasn't a bad player - what the pros call a patzer - though her Roux opening was somewhat orthodox.
I managed to make the game last twenty minutes while sacrificing several pieces without making it look
too obvious. When I said "Checkmate", she kicked off both her shoes and laughed.
"Care for another drink?" I asked, not feeling too hopeful. "After all, it's not yet eleven."
"All right. Just a small one and then I must be off".
I went to the kitchen, returned a moment later clutching the bottle, and refilled her glass.
"I only wanted half a glass," she said, frowning.
"I was lucky to win," I said, ignoring her remark, "after your bishop captured my knight. Extremely close￾run thing.'
"Perhaps," she replied.
"Care for another game?" I ventured. She hesitated.
"Double or quits?" "What do you mean?"
"Twenty pounds or another garment?" "Neither of us is going to lose much tonight, are we?"
She pulled up her chair as I turned the board round and we both began to put the ivory pieces back in
place.
The second game took a little longer as I made a silly mistake early on, castling on my queen's side, and it
took several moves to recover. However, I still managed to finish the game off in under thirty minutes and
even found time to refill Amanda's glass when she wasn't looking.
She smiled at me as she hitched her dress up high enough to allow me to see the tops of her stockings.
She undid the suspenders and slowly peeled the stockings off before dropping them on my side of the
table.
"I nearly beat you that time," she said.
"Almost," I replied "Want another chance to get even? Let's say fifty pounds this time," I suggested, trying
to make the offer sound magnanimous.
"The stakes are getting higher for both of us she replied as she reset the board. I began to wonder what
might be going through her mind. Whatever it was, she foolishly sacrificed both her rooks early on and the
game was over in a matter of minutes.

A dream

Ajay was sitting quietly in his last annual function of middle school; The Prize Ceremony was about to start and he was confident this time that he would get a prize. He didn’t really know why he desperately wanted a prize — to hold the precious small cup, to get the applause from the audiences, or to understand the feeling of others who get the prizes.

In previous years he tried very hard and participated in all the activities — academics, literature, sports and what not — to stand on this big stage to receive prize amidst thundering applause from the audiences. Unfortunately he could never make to any of 1st, 2nd or 3rd positions in any events. At last, in final year he tried the toughest but safest bet — Target “The Student with Most Attendance”. He had to only not to miss any day in school to receive the precious cup in this category. To do so, he had to come every single day when the school was opened: be it shivering winter when people don’t want to even come out of quilt or be it hot summer when burning roof of their classroom was not less than live oven. He came to class even when he fell sick and his body revolted to provide any support to him.

The coveted prize “The Student with Most Attendance” was about to be announced. He was restless with anxiety and expectation though he was quite sure to win it. But destiny did not support him. His effort and dream both got shattered. It was not his name. He checked the records later to find himself absence for two days due to leave he applied for her mother sickness. No matter what, he already lost the final chance to stand on this big stage to receive the prize and accomplish his dream.

He tried hard to forget his failure but deep in his heart the dream was still alive without getting even slightly faded. All the hard work he did to reach to that big stage paid off, in a way, when after eight years of long wait he became officer in army. His commitment to get prize or medal was enormous. He was one of the brightest officers to let nation proud of. During Kargil war, while fighting for his country, he lost one of his limbs. He was decorated with many accolades but always felt something missing. He was retired after the victory and returned to his same small town after a whole decade. (He never applied a day leave in these ten years of army service). Nonetheless, stories of his bravery reached to the town much earlier to him.

One day he was invited by the principal of his old middle school. When he reached his Alma mater, time rolled back eighteen years and he found himself standing in same function hall as he once desperately waited for announcement for “The Student with Most Attendance”. School was feeling proud to have him as chief guest on its annual day. Principal requested him to come on “The Stage” to give away prizes in various categories.

As he was holding every cup from every category, one by one, to give away it to winner students amidst loud deafening applause from huge gathering that included even his old principal and other teaching staffs, his tears could not control but came out to be evident of this glorious moment — today the much awaited dream was accomplished on the very same stage.

A night in the desert.

We all dream, It's just an illusion of our mind. I have dreamt many things, I dream while watching movies, hearing lecturers & while reading books. Etc..
Here is one the dream which i dreamt last night which happened to be so mysterious and woke me up in the middle of the night!

Stranded in the desert, with no sight of human activity for miles around me, I want to panic, but I am too confused and unsure about this reality to panic.

“This is bliss isn’t it? No more noises, no more interaction. Just the two of us… We can live whatever life we choose. No need to answer anyone. No need to follow any norm”.

“In this desert? There is no life around us. Not a single person to be seen. Nobody to run to for help” I argued.

But her face remained impassive. It always was like that. Even in the most terrible of circumstances, her face would remain like none of whatever happens around us matters. None of this could affect us. With a soft smile and a satisfied sigh she replied, “Look around you. The clear water, the plants, the creatures crawling… This is life. It is the desert life. You won’t need to run anywhere for help because there are no people around. And anyway,” she turned to face me, her face bringing some kind of a haunting calmness with it, “I am here with you, aren’t I?”

She turned back to pick on the swollen leaves beside her, humming a tune only she knew. I still wished I could panic. I wanted to feel scared, terrified even, lonely and helpless. But all I could feel was that sense of haunting calmness that her voice brought to me. I shut my eyes to bring myself back to reality, where I can feel something… anything… But that didn’t help. She looked at me again and shook her head at what I was trying to do. “Don’t… Don’t be like that. This is what you wanted. Freedom, space, time… somewhere far away from everything that exhausts you with its existence. This is what you have been yearning for. Now that you have it, don’t squeeze yourself out of it”. She leaned forward and placed something green on my lips. I took it in my mouth, something juicy, something alive. Definitely alive. I twirled it around in my mouth, squishing it against the roof of my mouth with my tongue. She was watching me, smiling at me. She looked like she approved.

I stayed there staring out at the vastness of my yearning and she decided to wander around for a while, leaving me with my thoughts. As soon as she was out of sight, they all rushed back in, the panic, the fear, the loneliness, the disgusting taste in my mouth and a sense of pure helplessness. I lie there in the sand, tightly bound with thick cables that were eating into my flesh every time I struggled. I screamed out for help, cried out in pain. I forgot to breathe and began gasping for air, gulping in the icy cold air and screaming some more as they pierce into my insides. I began wriggling like a worm trying to catch the attention of someone, anyone. Sand entered into my nose, my mouth, my ears, but I didn’t stop. Not even for a second. I screamed and cried as loud as I can and then I heard her.

She was walking towards me. Calm face, soft smile, her dark hair trailing behind her, touching her softly on the side of her face.

“You are alright”, she said.

And suddenly, I was. Once again that feeling of nothing rushed inside me, pushing out everything else. She helped me sit up and adjusted the binds.

She helped me to some water and said, in a whisper, “That was why you wanted to leave. All of those terrible feelings, eating you inside, rotting your mind and killing you. You won’t ever feel like that again here, with me. You didn’t want to be left like that and that is why you have me to take care of you. You trust me, remember?” and once again, I looked at her face, those haunting eyes and her long, long hair blowing in the wind, caressing her face and mine and I nodded. Yes, I remember, she is the only one I trust. There is nobody else, just her. She is the only one who is real, who is true. Everybody else was always pretending. No more of that. No! And I tucked her deep inside my mind, safe and protected from everything in the outside. No matter what they say or what they show me, she will remain right there. Deep inside, where she has always been. Keeping me safe, showing me the truth. Just her and me…

After All This Time (Part - 1)

What can you say about a guy who lost his girlfriend by the time the two of them were about to change their rings?
That he forced to lose his heart? That he was madly immersed in the love of his fatal girlfriend that, after she was gone, forever, he scripted an immortal story in her memory forever? Or may be that, he went back to her to get his love back and made his mark?
Here's an interesting story of a boy who never lost his courage to get his girl back to his life!

KUSH PANDEY, a 26 year old handsome and successful man, who was perfect in everything and famously known as the living example for other men of his age. He works in famous IT company and his package is around 50 lakh per annum. He had his luck going in his way in everything he was doing but, who knew his fate had written something different in his luck when it comes to marriage life. He had rejected many proposals earlier but agreed to one later which he fell in love just by seeing her photo and It was she, The GOWRI RATHOR!

KUSH'S DAD :-  Son, you must go to Ranchore.

KUSH :-  But, why dad?

KUSH'S DAD :-  I have informed Gowri's father that you have agreed.

KUSH :-  So, I should go?

KUSH'S DAD :-  Son, to get to know her personally you should go to her place.

KUSH :-  Yes dad, i will.

Kush was chosen by Gowri's father who was also a famous businessman in Ranchore. He boarded the train and on his way to Ranchore he found himself next to ABHIN IYENGAR

KUSH :-  Hey sir, that is my seat!

ABHIN :-  Sorry! I got confused with mine.

KUSH :-  it's ok. Hello, Myself Kush Pandey. what's your good name sir??

ABHIN :-  Hi Kush! My name is Abhin Iyengar.

KUSH :-  So Abhin, Where are you going?

ABHIN :-  I'm going to Ranchore Kush, What about you?

KUSH :-  Wow! What a coincidence, even I'm going to Ranchore brother.

ABHIN :-  That's so nice to hear. Atleast, I got a company to hang on.

KUSH :-  Yup! You're right. We can have some fun atleast.

ABHIN :-  So Kush, what do you do?

KUSH  :-  I'm an engineer, how about you?

ABHIN :-  Well, I'm also an engineer.

KUSH :- By the way, Why are you going to Ranchore? Can I know?

ABHIN :-  Ya sure, I'm going to meet my girlfriend and her dad to convince about our love. What about you?

KUSH :- Wow man!  Sounds really interesting, I'm going to meet my fiance.

ABHIN :-  Congratulations man!

KUSH :-  Thank you! All the best for your mission.

ABHIN :-  Ha ha! Hope it goes well, Thank you.

KUSH :-  You travelling alone?

ABHIN :-  Yes.

KUSH :-  If u want any help there, you can always call me i will be in the same city.
Here's my card, take it.

ABHIN :-  Thank you once again Kush.

KUSH :-  Can i know your story?

They both didn't had any clue that they were speaking about the same girl GOWRI RATHOR. But, destiny had decided to play with both of them. Kush had the practice of writing his day to day life experiences in his personal dairy. Hence, he decided to write down Abhin's love story in his dairy that day.

ABHIN :-  Of course, I will tell you.

Night had started to fall when GOWRI RATHOR a 25 year old girl walked down the Bengaluru city railway station gate. Chilled weather with tiny drops of rain falling on her cheek welcomed her to the 'City of Opportunities' . Her thick, wavy, long black hair gracefully falls down to her shoulders and encircles her oval-shaped face. A golden suntan usually brings out her smooth, clear complexion and high cheek bones. Her slightly arched chestnut brown eyebrows highlight her emotions by moving up and down. Her large deep blue eyes made her more attractive. Her curved nose gives her a little girl look that makes everyone wants to smile when she talks. And her mouth is a small mouth outlined by puffy lips that she often accentuates with glossy pink lipstick. When she smiles, white teeth brighten up her whole face.
Walking down the road she found her favorite 'Hot Badam Drink', while few cab drivers offered her a paid ride asking,

DRIVER :-  'Ellige hogbeku, madam?'

GOWRI :-  Whitefield ge hogbeku, bhayya.

DRIVER :-  1000/- agatte, kodtira?

GOWRI :- Beda parvagilla, thank you.

She took the share ride to reach her relative who stays in Whitefield.
By the time she took a cab, rain started coming down heavily and she was deeply immersed in the glimpse of it.

She boarded the cab which was already taken by another guy who was also on his way to Whitefield and that guy was ABHIN IYENGAR!

Abhin, a 26 year old handsome hunk. He had pony tail cut and Nike symbol-shaped eyebrows. His long nose and half-dome cheekbones sat above his jaw. His wrestler’s shoulders were part of his burly physique. His nomad-blue eyes twinkled like stars. His derring-do personality and bass voice were a big part of his ambitious character.

In the shades of the car top and in that pre-monsoon for the first time Abhin saw Gowri drenching, dancing in the rain and slowly waking towards the doors holding her bag above her head. (love theme playing in the background)

GOWRI :-  Can you please, open the door?

ABHIN :-  Silently opens the door.

Upon Gowri's arrival, Abhin felt his heart begin to race. His eyes traced her tall slender figure, from her wavy black hair down to her dress. The closer she came, the better he could view her. Her eyes warm, a range of soft colours. Reminding him of sweet caramel. He took a deep breath.  Her broad smile transformed the night into one he would not want to forget any time soon.

He was out of his mind and couldn't speak anything with her as he was madly drenched in the beauty of her. Though he tried to speak, her beauty made everything so quite.  Time wasn't enough for him when she got down in her place leaving behind him.
That sweet lady took his sleep for some days, he searched the whole area and couldn't find her. One fine day after his work while surfing the Facebook, he saw her pic and got to know her as Gowri. He immediately sent her a request with the message.

Day 1,

ABHIN :-  Hii

GOWRI :-  Request accepted,  hii do I know you?

ABHIN :-  I don't think so, but I know you.

GOWRI :-  Can I know how?

ABHIN :-  It was me with you, when we were coming back to home from railway station in cab few day back.  Remember?

GOWRI :-  Sorry, I really don't remember!

ABHIN :-  It's ok, My name is Abhin Iyengar. I'm also from Whitefield.

GOWRI :-  My name is Gowri Rathor. Nice to meet you and oh!  Where in Whitefield?

ABHIN :-  I stay in PG near CMRIT college. What about you?

GOWRI :-  I stay near MVJCE college with my cousin.

ABHIN  :-  So?  Where are you from?

GOWRI :-  I'm from Ranchore. What about you?

ABHIN :-  I'm from Bangalore itself. How come you are here then? Let me take a guess, you are here for a job right?

GOWRI :-  Yes, I'm here in search of job.

ABHIN :-  That's nice. Even i am searching for a job. We can search together right?

GOWRI :-  NO it's OK, I'll try on my own. Thank you!

Abhin became sad about Gowri's way of conversation and decided not to continue.

ABHIN :-  OK then got to go! Bye.

Day 2,

ABHIN :-  HII

Gowri started avoiding Abhin even though he was texting continously in Facebook.

Day 3,

GOWRI :-  Hey! Congratulations for your job.

Abhin was surprised by her message and texted back immediately with the speed and joy he was collecting from last few months.

ABHIN :-  Thank you so much. This means a lot to me.
How about you? You found any?

GOWRI :-  No not yet! Still finding something to happen!

ABHIN :-  Can i help you with that?  I know some people in my company.

GOWRI :-  That's so kind of you. I'll be waiting for you message.

They both shared their personal contacts. Abhin was flying over the clouds with joy and Gowri was left behind with the hope of getting a job.
Their life was so different but Gowri was in a hope that Abhin would help her with this.
Abhin called her to say the good news that he had found a new job for her in his office. Gowri was amazed and started liking that guy for his kindness.

So here it starts, they both became best of friends, started accompanying each other where ever they go & also started to know each other very well. Within the fraction of months they both fell for each other.
As Gowri was from other state she felt this is not gonna work and stared controlling her feelings.
Abhin, on the other hand was planning to say her about his feeling that he had from the day one. To give her a surprise he planned for a party where he could confess his feelings for her.

With the plans going in his way Abhin called Gowri to meet him urgently.
When she arrived she saw the magical land in front of her. Petals of red roses welcomed her as a carpet to the front door, balloons started floating next to her when she entered the room, with the color papers popping above her head and romantic music in the background making her feel special made her think that she is in a dream, as she walked inside the  walls were filled with the pictures they both cherished together, passing that she saw a boat in the pool decorated with candle lights and Abhin standing in the middle of that and waiting for her to come. He welcomed her and said
"I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible, If I could ask God one thing, it would be to stop the moon. Stop the moon and make this night and your beauty last forever.”
I LOVE YOU GOWRI FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
Gowri was totally drenched in the love shown by him and without hesitating she confessed her feelings to.

At this point of time RINI who found this Kush's dairy accidentally was left with blank about what happened next as Kush hasn't completed this story where the remaining paged were left blank!

So Who is Rini?
How did Rini get this dairy?
What happened to their love story?
Did they broke?
How will Rini find out what happened next?
Does Abhin succeed in his love?
Will Kush marry Gowri?
What will happen next?
Etc..

Find out answers for all these in the next part!

Thank you.

My Secret Agent Pet Cat

Few days back I went to a celestial prophet who gave me an intriguing anecdote about my past life. It was exceptionally amusing however, I would love to share that. So here it is!

I lived in a city where it was led by an abhorrent man with malicious desire! I just had couple of companions there, however my closest companion was my neighbor EMMA WATSON who really liked me yet was dithering to state that. We both adored pets and consequently purchased felines for the two of us.

I named my feline Zack and Emma named her feline Pinky. From the very first moment my feline was carrying on bafflingly as it was vanishing from us when we needed to play. Toward the starting we disregarded that reality and went ahead to play as we like. However, my feline Zack ended up being a mystery specialist from an association which trains pets to end up plainly mystery operators and battle against fiendish.

My Zack was exceptionally skilled and was a pioneer for every one of the operators in that association, despite the fact that he is only a feline( he's only a feline, felines won't do much) he was a specialist in hand to hand fighting and he was prepared to battle the shrewd ruler who was administering our city. That malevolent ruler was building an abhorrent supplies every day to wreck the world and it was being annihilated by my Zack day by day. He had a mystery openings all through my home to get to his mystery task room.

The leader of that mystery association who additionally runs the pet shop was the fundamental reason I took Zack. On the off chance that the mystery of my Zack was uncovered to our family he needed to abandon us and we ought to go under interrogation(neuralized like in the film MIB). So he kept it mystery from every one of us till one day I saw a gap in my room under my bed when driven me to that mystery task room where I saw a SUPER SONIC JETS, HIGHLY SOPHISTICATED ROOM, ROCKET and considerably more things to do everything what he needs. I was stunned to see that and ensured I am not in a fantasy. He even had his own ID card which I found on the floor.. Where his name was specified as The Secret Agent Jack and he had his photograph stuck on his divider in which he was wearing a COW BOY cap on his head!

Zack got me there and let me know everything by writing in the paper! I resembled man genuinely? I have a pet feline who is splendid than me, who resembles a dairy animals kid and who can likewise compose things! I was in a stun and I went oblivious there itself. When I woke up I was in my stay with Zack remaining on his 2 legs and paper in his grasp saying his identity. Later I came to realize that even Emma's pet Pinky was likewise a mystery specialist. As a result of the security issues the leader of the mystery association needed to ensure that my pet must be with me and I needed to overlook my most critical day of my life to my cherishing pet and I experienced neuralization like in the motion picture MIB.

Normal folks! Subsequent to watching MIB I had the piece of information how to get past that thing! 😂

I had my Reebok goggles on when I experienced that. My Zack had took some selfies and recordings when we were having a fabulous time! 😂😂 however we duped the head, regardless I assist zack with his central goal and I trust one day he will prevail in that.

One final counsel, Even on the off chance that you cherish don't not believe your pets at any cost it can be a mystery operator, a fear monger or a revolutionarist.. And so forth..

Be ready, be watchful.. 😉

The 2 mysterious phone calls

My friend used to live in a building that had two levels of sub-basements, with the piece of lab equipment workers typically worked on in the lowest basement. He had the only key to the basement. There was a wired phone in there, and we did party late some nights in his home… but not this night as his parents were out of station, he called me to be with him for night out.

We were the only two sleeping in that apartment when I woke up to a call on my  cellphone from my friends cellphone at 3 AM who was sleeping next to me, i was in hysterics and asking why he scared me. He was in a deep sleep and he had no clue about that, we searched all his home to make sure it's not a prank, Yes it's not a prank. We both don't know what happened exactly!

Apparently i received a call from that basement phone just a minute later, with someone who sounded like him slowly repeating my name, until crackling and fading out. My apartment was 10 miles away from his. He thought i was lying, but he saw the 3 AM call from the basement phone logged on my cell himself. We made sure it was locked and no one can enter as we were the only guys who had the key to open that gate.
What just happened here? 😐
We were not dreaming!
That mystery still remains unsolved!

Still freaks us the fuck out.

The unknown

I don’t remember this, but my mom tells the story often. When I was somewhere around 3 to 4 years old, I used to play in my basement. My mom once asked me what I did down there, and I told her I would play with the kids that lived down there. She had me show here where they lived and I pointed to a huge coal furnace that was disconnected, with attached coal bin. She realized the door to the furnace was just latched in place, and kinda freaked out, thinking that I was playing inside. She had my dad weld the door on the furnace and coal bin shut.

Apparently I came up the next day crying. My mom says that when she asked me what was wrong, I had told her that my friends won’t come out to play anymore. They’re all gone.

Sleep paralysis

I experienced what I think was sleep paralysis not too long ago. One morning I woke up, but I was still in that groggy, half-asleep state that leaves you only slightly aware of everything. So I’m laying in bed and in my head I start to hear an argument between what I somehow instinctively know is a man and his two parents. The arguments gets heated and I hear the son kill the two parents. As the parents die their voices fade and a narrator talks directly to me:

“Think quick: you’re the witness to a violent crime. What do you do?”

As he talks, the words he says flash before my eyes. I can see police lights flash red and blue in front of me.

“This may seem like a real nightmare. But there’s just one thing…”

My vision clears and I can see my room.

“This is not a dreaaaaaaaam.” I tried to pinch myself but I couldn't feel my hand and I think it was heavy.

As the voice says the last word it turns much lower, more distorted, more demonic. My body begins to shake violently and I feel like I’m about to die. Then suddenly, I’m thrust from my half asleep state and become aware of everything.

Before realizing what just happened, Suddenly some gallons of water splashed and I heard my mom screaming kamangi Nan magne eddelo 11 gante aytu mundede (idiot wake-up its already 11 o'clock).

It may seem relatively tame compared to some of the stories but at the time it was terrifying, especially since the voice seemed to be aware I was sleeping and wanted to make me doubt it.

Shit just got real

I was sitting downstairs minding my own business when my sister yells down for me to come up stairs, I argue back for her to come down and stop being lazy. This goes on for around two minutes and I am highly irritated. All of a sudden I go cold and realise, my sister is in Japan for travel. But it was her exact voice. So at this point I am freaking out and I grab and knife and go upstairs, walk into my sisters room and the rain on the window was dripping down except for one circle around the size of a plate, which the rain was not touching but drizzling around the edges. So very strange. I called my sister and she confirmed she was fine and had no idea what it was upstairs.

Later, I woke up on my bed and realized that I don't have a sister! 😱

I am not a thief

Basically, as you know, I’m really bad at writing this blog and I always seem to start posts without finishing them. My problem is I’m lazy and unmotivated. I do this thing at night where a basically write a blog post but in my head instead of on here because I’m too lazy to convert it to proper words on a screen. But I am here now! There are many things we need to discuss so let’s get started!

Firstly, I seem to always set of security alarms in Super Malls, WHY?!?! I do not appreciate being stopped by security like I am some sort of thief! Let me tell you, if I am walking into a store and the security alarm goes off, I’m not stealing anything! How can you steal something on the way in? If I was going into the store I’d stolen from with a stolen item, I would not be going to university because I’d be stupid. I think I have found the culprit that is doing this however… It is hopefully this tiny barcode sticker which contains a tiny piece of foil located inside my purse. If I beep again I’m going to get the security to search everything because this is not okay.

Secondly, I have recently watched all 6 seasons of Game of thrones within the space of about 3 weeks. Yes, this is not advisable as it seems like the world has stopped spinning and you forget to actually go outside and have a life, but it is just that addictive. It was the best thing I’d ever seen, I highly recommend it! It is basically a film in every episode and it’s so smart, it keeps you on your toes the whole time. I had started to write a blog at the beginning of the last month about  girl and how amazing that was and it was, but in a different way to this. Just go and watch it! … NOW. This makes me seem extremely sad watching so much NETFLIX & HOTSTAR but what else do you do when it’s always cold and dark and raining?

Something that is bothering me: I’m too anxious. Every morning I get a funny feeling in my belly and feel sick just as I’m about to go to school because I’m anxious about it. You see, I get anxious about stupid little things that I know I definitely shouldn’t do. For example, I got crazy nervous and worked up about asking my teacher to leave class early because I had an appointment. What the hell?! I fear life like it’s death. This isn’t normal, people don’t get worked up over such small things. Every time I go and do something, I’m calculating what’s going to happen and what I’m going to do next always planning and planning and planning. It’s drives me crazy that I can’t just stop and be, I’m always looking into the future planning what to do next. My mind is crazy. What do I do?

Philosophical question of the day: what really is time? Time is basically a man-made invention created for us to live an easier life. Time only gives us all a standard point to make meetings and plan our day (my favourite activity it seems). I’m finding it very hard to define time without saying the word time or day or hour etc. The dictionary definition is: “the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.” This sounds extremely complicated. The truth is how can we really say what time is? Time is happening always and always will be happening. Does time exist? We say it does because we made it real, but is time an actual thing? And if it is, which we assume it is, how can we know if we are measuring it right? Time is just there to compare against others (like the time it takes it get somewhere). We rely so much on this time, more than most things in fact because it seems constant but is it? Does it fluctuate without us knowing? Time is too confusing and I’m not a physicist so anyone that is please explain this all to me please. I’ve confused myself with this question.

The first fall.

Like many stories he had a story too, a story that is untold, unsaid, a tale of adoration and unrequited love.

He was a simple boy, busy with his family, friends and studies and was very happy with his life. But fate had decided something else for him, and it was “HER” . Her untoward entrance changed everything. The girl was his batch mate when he was in 12th grade and after he had left the school, they were not in touch but they met again through facebook and boy’s decision to be friends with her was the life changer decision for him, with passage of time their friendship started growing and when in blossomed into the flower of love they even didn’t know ..he got entrapped in her love ,the boy who runs from the name of love was completely smitten by her.

Everything was beautiful like every love story…regular conversation but suddenly things started changing he did not understand when his love had started smothering her and she started ignoring him , when he asked her ,”Do you love me the way you do before or is your love over for me?”

She replied ,”Don’t worry we will always be good friends , you are my best friend.”

Her words had said everything ..he was scattered and had understood that the later part of his question was the truth..she had moved on and he had just became a forgotten and blurred part of her life.

Time did not stop , and change is the law of nature , he changed , adapted himself according to the situation and now he did not even want her name in his life as its better to take heart and should not run behind the things that are not meant for us as when you have to convince someone to love you that is not love ….it should not be first it should be true ,pious and full of life.

“First love teaches you everything ..it never dies but true love can bury it alive.”

Bhagnewali ladki (The RunAway Girl)

When she smiled, the edges of her mouth spread till they were inside an immaterial separation of her ears, and cheeks began sparkling, reaching out upon her face like the beams in a portray of the rising sun.

Everything began four years back, when me and my folks began scrambling for my cousin wedding. Before long coming to there I went ahead with my relatives to play as we were in great inclination for some insane things. This time it was unique, it was quiet and I was extraordinary full. Here comes she! who was appearing to be unique from all others display there. She was reasonable and she had wavy hair with borders hanging down over her eyes which influenced me to feel like a bit of iron pulled in by a magnet.

I presented myself through my cousin and came to realize that she is my far relative, where she ended up being my senior(elder)! I began shouting inside my head saying saala god kya kiya tune? After that we began playing some insane stuffs. Soon thereafter I went to talk with her however I couldn't discover her anyplace! she had vanished in a blaze!

It took me two months in another family work trusting she would be there and yes! There she is! This time its exclusive me and her no different relatives were available. I went looking for adorable face of her. We talked like a water which cycles back in the nature. We traded our numbers and I knew in a split second soon or later we would be near each other! But before saying bye she again varnished in a blaze!

These things and family works continued event and we continued meeting each other at practically every place. Truly, who can prevent these capacities from being composed? might be somebody who might be listening heard this expression itseems. No doubt! There was no family capacities for right around a year. As we were remaining in two better places it wasn't conceivable to meet routinely like some time recently! (saala phir se kya kiya tune?)

That great looking young lady took my days of lay down with her. she just watches herself as a reasonable result of nature, she reddens at herself, and seeing her reflecting become flushed, became flushed the more. She generally influence herself to fit in each circumstance she experiences. She had a solid faith in what she is doing and what she needs to. She had a propensity for vanishing in a blaze even in my fantasy to. May be she had that from last Era itseems.

Time began passing, years began streaming watching us both talking and meeting each other. I moved to her place for my single men and she relocated abroad to her lords. Its been very nearly a long time since we last met and as far back as she relocated it's simply whatsapp which is between us. Despite the fact that we Skype and whatsapp there is a damnation parcel of distinction amongst gatherings and those two!

Despite the fact that its been 2 years my cognizant resembled, Dude she is here run talk with her man u good for nothing! What's more, here it advises my whatsapp message from her colloquialism I'm back, come here how about we home base!

Here it is, I will meet her one week from now. Expectation she is as yet the same insidious young lady who I saw and fell. What's more, yes! I overlooked! Her name closes with HEGDE and begins with VIDYA.
